Japan Tokyo - Part 5 & Bye Japan

Daddy mentions that we are going to a high moutain. Me and didi tried to sleep early the night before but no matter how hard i tried, tossing here and there, i simply cant get to sleep. Prob too excited over the "high"moutain which daddy has described.

Well, mommy wake up very early to cook our porridge so that we can have our lunch later in the day. Daddy had booked a day tour with the hotel up to mt Fuji and Hakone the day before and guess how much we paid??.......Abt SGD500plus just for 2 pax as didi n me is free.
We had to meet up with the tour guide at abt 7,20am (Japan hr) and took a coach up to the mt Fuji's fifth station. I'm always striked with motion sickness....and this time round...i'm not spared. I vomited half way up the moutain and luckily, daddy is well prepared with plastic bag.

When we reached the fifth station, the view that awaits us is breathtaking......when we step out of the bus, we can feel our face and hands turn cold but body warm under the thermal clothing. The white clouds swept across the blue sky with the greenery from the moutain defining the clear separation of the colours.
This is me and the coach which took us up....

This is taken just outside the restaurant where we have our lunch
After lunch, we took a cruise ship cruising Lake Ashi enjoying the crisp mountain air and mount fuji view.....

Me and didi too busy to pose for a pic.
Of cos...me up to my monkie act....trying to climb up this pole like a fireman!!Something to distract me?? What else but the potatoe chip which daddy buy n board the cruise ship.Ok....i'm up to something else again..this time, i tok the float as steering wheel pretending to be the one sailing this cruise ship Lake Ashi.Saw that cruise ship we took? After cruising, we took the aerial cableway at Mt Komagatake overlooking Hakone National Park.

Hello Kitty and the black egg. We bought some black eggs to try. While the shell is indeed black in colour...however, the egg taste normal to us. Nothing fanciful. We bought some back to sg for Ah Gong and Ah Ma to try.

At the end of the journey, we took the famous Shinkansen (bullet train) back.
This is the Shinkansen super express......well....it travels at a really amazing speed. Me and didi dont even have to time to see the train approaching and before we realise, it has stop right in front of us.
In the train. Smooth, quiet journey but with speed.

While on the way back to hotel, daddy and mommy pack KFC back for dinner. This is a Shanghainese jie and her japanese colleague posing for us.
Turning in...preparing to sleep so that mommy n daddy can start packing.....Time to go back...

Last Day: We checked out the hotel at near 11am and left our luggage at the hotel before we explore a little bit at sunshine mall.
Lunch at one of the Jap restaurant.....

After lunch, daddy and mmmy decided to proceed to the observatory tower again to catch the final day view of tokyo.

We took the Limo bus to Narita Airport and slept for abt an hr before we reached. Luckily, the load of the flight is good so we can immediately check in our luggages. After that, we roamed ard the airport....and daddy suggested having a final jap meal before we go back to sg.

Me and the model A380. We misssed taking the A380 aircraft this time as the flight is almost full. But never mind, Daddy promised that we will have a chance...prob the next trip....Guess where?!!!

Didi fall asleep while the plane is taking off...finally, mommy has a gd rest....
Sleeping......tired out from the fun trip!!

Review from Mommy & Daddy:
1) The kids are great! Not much crankiness. Not as bad as we think they will behave.
2) Trip with kids are tiring. This is no doubt. We have to lug 2 big luggage with only 1/3 filled with our stuff and the rest belong to the kiddos, a stroller and a diaper backpack. During the trip, we have to lug the stroller and backpack along with thermal flash and jug containing their porridge and not forgetting having to wake up earlier to prepare the meals. We do complain at times....but deep in our heart, we actually do not mind the trouble. As much as we have received comments from others against bringing kids oversea for holiday, we actually do feel that it is actually a good learning development for the kiddos. The kids will not remember the bit and pieces of the trip...but we strongly believe what they see, hear, touch, smell will bring a great milestone in their learning progress. We can already see a difference in didi's development before and after the trip. No doubt, more trips will be awaiting for them to explore and learn in their own ways.
Its troublesome having to lug so many things......but they are afterall your own kids.
There is actually no such thing as the right age to travel.
If so, why bother to travel when you are already in your 60s and 70s when you know that you are nearing the end of your life journey.
3) It gives the care giver, AH ma, to take a really good rest and recover from her cough. Believe me.....its no joke taking care of 2 kids not to say 2 boys.

4) We have to mention this: We like the family bonding
