Grandma's Bday

Grandma's bday is actually last tues but we celebrated it 2 days earlier on sun. We went to Ponggol Plaza and headed back home to cut cake. We bought a mini cake for MahMah and we finished up the cake in a short while.

Outing @ East Coast Park

Daddy and mommy brought us to East Coast Park last sat. We had great fun playing with the sand. This time round, we went well equipped with all our sand tools and a kite!!

Mommy made a pond for me where i can put in all my crab, starfish, fish etc for a swim.

We played for quite a while till very late evening and had a bath b4 we headed down to Bedok for dinner.

Thomas & Friends Lapbook

This is the 2nd lapbook which mommy had made. I simply love this...why??....cos the theme is Thomas and Friends!! Materials: From internet except for the photo of Wan Xuan Jie JIe which grandma has contributed.

This is the 2D mini train track which mommy drew. Few stops for the trains: Fill up water tank for the steam engines, French fries stop, ice cream stops, drinks stall, and Thomas station ( i called this the hse)

Didi joined in the fun too. He passed me James and Diesel so that 4 trains are on the track

After which is colouring activity. Mommy has made a mental note to include this in as i requested to colour during the review of the Nemo lapbook.Kppo didi wanted to join in again.

Me and didi revising the Nemo lapboook, my 1st lapbook. Though the book is mainly meant for me, didi learnt a great deal of it too. He can recognise all the fishes in the book esp nemo and the shark and of cos the sea turtle. He knows blue colour from Dory, the blue fish. He can make a fish tank with a little guidance from me.

During bedtime, i will narrate the Nemo story to mommy and we will discuss abt all the characters in the Finding Nemo movie.....

Nemo

Mommy made a small lapbook for me or you can call it the tot book - small book meant for toddler. Mommy made the Nemo theme since i'm hooked on watching Finding Nemo these few weeks. Mommy bought a nemo fishing set for me to play too....

The materials can be found from the internet except for the fish tank which this is an idea from mommy and she made a 2D fish tank for me so that i can stick all the fishes, sea weeds and stones anywhere which i like my fish tank to be.

Followed by craft making of the sea creatures. I'm colouring the shell of the sea turtle made from plastic cup.

Mommy helped by cutting the shapes of the fishes and putting all the parts of the turtle together. I call the fish with pink stripes "Nemo", the 2 starfishes are Big Peach and Small Peach, a black shark and the sea turtle.

My monster sharks

I made 2 sharks out of paper plates with some help from mommy. I call them the Monster Sharks.

The 2 monster sharks have sharp teeth pasted by mommy. There is a monster mushroom which is being eaten by the big shark because it is so hungry.

Know Starfall website?? I simply love this website since i'm still a baby. Till now, its still one of my fav. Didi likes it too. Nowadays me and didi watch and learn from the site.

Matching Alphabet Apples

Match the alphabet boy and gal to the correct apple trees

So whats didi doing while i'm bz with this?? He's busy walking along the edge of our bed up and down several times enjoying and entertaining himself.....training his leg muscle .....so big boy still don't want to walk....shame shame

Fill & Spill Bottle

When i'm bz with the alphabet activity, didi is also kept bz putting all the cut straws into a juice bottle to improve fine motor skill.

I decided to join in the fun and take 2 different bottles, one for me and one for didi and we put all the straws into the bottle, trying to see who can put in more. Of cos i win.....cos didi put all the straws that he picked into my bottle...hehehe

ABCs

Mommy made this snowman alphabet matching few weeks ago. Simple. I just need to match the alphabets to the correct snowman! Beside that, i have to say the letter before i match them.....while u see...i can say A to Z without any problem...BUT...i'm still lagging behind when it comes to recognise alphabets.

After i'm done, time to sing the alphabets song.....A, B, C, D, E, F, G......
