Mooncake Festival

We didnt enjoy much for the mooncake festival this year. Reason why.....both myself and didi is down with viral infection. Well, it started off shrtly after jiujiu, jiuma and jiejies left for USA. Both Jiejies are coughing, grandma and grandpa are also coughing. Soon, i was running a fever when i return home the following day from ponggol. Cough and running nose surfaced. This went off for a few more days, seeing doc 2 times. Didi started having fever a day later after me and started off with cough and fever too.

4 days later, when mommy reached home from work and realise i wasnt in my usual self, lethargic...restless.....and breathing hard. She thought she heard wheezing sound when i breathe and i only wanted to lie on her shoulder while she carry me. She rushed me to the hospital despite the peak hours after work and we reached KKH only after 45 mins later in a cab, without dinner, without shower. I was immediately being put on neubulize and oxygen treatment after the nurse took my blood pressure and oxygen level. we were there for about 3-4 hours....repeating the neubulize treatment for 3 rounds with oxygen purging in between. It was only after an hr to midnight that the doc decided to let me go back home when my oxygen level went back to normal. No more fever after the visit.......and i slowly recovered well in the next few days.

4 days before we due to go Japan, Didi still have not recover from his fever and its into the 5th days despite seeing dc 2 times. Mommy and Daddy decided to bring him to KKH too. Didi too was wheezing abit and was put on neubulize treatment for 3 rounds. However, he was still wheezing abit despite the treatment. The doc is not comfortable releasing him and propose that he might want didi to stay in the hospital for evaluation. However, as didi is behaving normal, playing well, eating well, the master doc decided to let us monitor him at home. Phew!! no need hospitalise........and didi get well the day after the kkH visit.

I only get to hold the lantern which mommy bought for me in a cake shop all the way home. Ón the actual day itself, it was raining cats and dogs and mommy didnt want both of us to fall sick again....so no lantern playing this yr.......
