Japan - Toyko Part 2

If you do notice, there isnt any photos taken at the Narita Airport when we reached the 1st night. We reached Japan at abt 6.15pm (Japan Hour), booked the limo bus from the airport to our hotel (Sunshine Prince Hotel at Ikebukuro), which is located at the center of the Sunshine shopping mall going up to 60 storey high. As the bus only arrived at 7pm sharp, Mommy fed both us with cereal while waiting. We were both hungry and finished up the cereal fast.

During the bus journey, didi starts to get abit cranky as he is tired. I on the other hand, is feeling good and in high spirit, singing songs one after another. As mommy is sitting with did infront, i walked up and down the aisle in between our seats to play with mommy and didi. Shortly after, i felt unwell and get daddy to carry me. Who know within sec, i vomited out all the cereal and whatever i had eaten earlier on onto Daddy's jeans and bag and of cos i'm all soaked thru. Motion Sickness!!!! Yucks.....Daddy got to quickly cleaned himself up and carry the fussy didi who insist mommy to carry. Mommy quickly clean me up and changed me into new clothing but without shoe as the other pair of shoe is in the luggage. Luckily, we reached the hotel shortly and when we entered the hotel room, we were all dread tired. However, as daddy and mommy haven had dinner yet, we decided to walk ard the mall and ard the hotel to see if we can find something to eat. Gosh, the shops closed ard 9pm and there;s nothing much. Daddy didnt want to eat instant noodle on the 1st night in Japan and thus, we walked ard the hotel. Lucky, there is a 24 hr Seiyu just beside the hotel. We bought some bento, sushi, bread, instant noodle and some ingredients for our porridge for the next few days. What a day.....

The next morning, we woke up fresh and happy. Guess our 1st breakfast?? Macdonald!! hehe....most of the resturants are not opened yet so we decided to try out Japan Mac. Taste different and mommy thinks it taste much more yummy than the ones in Singapore.

Didi in the baby chair and this chair comes with wheels....so we do not have to carry it ard...just push and it goes...

After breakfast, Daddy wanted to find the Hard Rock. We started the itenery light since its the 1st day of the journey. When we step out of the hotel.....we can feel the breeze. A few more steps, the breeze become somehow different....we can hear the wind coming fast swirling in circles....gosh.....soon, a strong wind just came and it sway the stroller (7-8kg) which i (13.8kg) am sitting in, plus a diaper bag weighing abt 4-5 kg off the ground. Luckily daddy held tightly. The wind come and go fast. Its typhoon. I was by then crying and screaming. I got a shock!! Didi who is in mommy's arm, used both hands to cover his ears and hide behind mommy's shoulder when the wind comes. This go on for a few more times. We couldnt even proceed to the Ikebukuro Station. So Daddy decided to ask ard for underpass. Luckily there is one leading to the station with just a 10 min walk outside. We took the train from Ikebukuro station to Yoyogi and then to Roppongi station. We had a hard time finding the hard rock...we walked up and down the street, asking pple.....and nobody seems to know where the hard rock is. Finally Daddy spot the sign and here we are.........

We had a quick lunch and then decided to explore Meiji Shrine since its still early. This time, its earlier and we found our destination with the help of map and road sign.

I like this best. Scoop the water out and pour everywhere...... This is supoose to wash our hand before going into the temple

Didi is making noise...he want to join in the fun too...

Me and Daddy under the bright sun

How many wishes have you made??

Resting my feet

We walked all the way from Meiji Shrine to Harajuku station

We spot this when we reached Ikebukuro station. This store sells crispy optopus crackers....yum yum.....its located at the west wing of the station. We walked all the way back to sunshine mall since the weather looks fine. Seems like typhoon only visited tokyo in the morning....

We had dinner at one of the Japanese Restaurant at sunshine mall. As the menu is written in Jap, we need to show the lady boss what we want from the food display outside the store. Soon, we did that everytime we dine in jap restaurant. *The pics of the food will be displayed shortly in the next few posts*

After dinner, we went up to the 60 storey to view the night scenery of Tokyo!!

I insist on taking a pic with this banner.....I like Pumpkin

Didi exercising his muscles since he has been comfortably being carried all the way.
